Minus 31 and I have to haul myself out to Syncrude for overtime.... But it's all good, cause I have big plans for this cash. I cant divulge this information quite yet, as its a surprise, but I think it should make some people happy :)
So this whole moving thing really IS a lot of fun once the physical act of moving is complete. By the way, I am not exactly finished moving all my stuff into my new place yet. I still have a car full of stuff, and I have things randomly scattered around that I need to find a home for. I have been purging purging, purging. Donating all that I can and tossing the rest. There really is no need for one person to have this much STUFF! Random things... old halloween costumes... a busted alarm clock.... books I have read 15 times and will never read again.... So my moto this year is... OUT WITH THE OLD AND NO MORE NEW!!! I hope I can stick with it (this coming from a long line of women who LOVE to shop).
And as for my teeth? Well, I am damn sure that they sewed my cheek to my gums. Weird, I know. I went to the dentist today and he said it looked okay, and that I shouldnt worry about it. It doesn't hurt anymore, and as long as it isn't going to mess anything up in my mouth, I'm cool with that. I was impressed with how quickly I healed up. And more impressed with how adult I was with the whole experience (except for the scene in the operating room... that wasn't cool).
So now that I'm getting back into the swing of things, I think I am ready for a vacation.... but that is going to have to wait by the looks of things. My boss has "big plans" for the next little bit and she's "relying" on me to help her out... oh to be needed, ha ha.
I better get back to this stimulating onversation I'm having with my friend about concrete.... funny that he thinks I care. Smile and nod. Smile and nod.

So its snowing like crazy and I still have a few things I need to move into my new place. Next time I move, it will be in the summer months. I always seem to move in the WORST weather possible. And this time I am basically moving across town, so in no way is any of this convenient. I supposed I would be much more effective if I were actually doing something rather than sitting here complaining about it! I'm outta here... hopefully I can have everything done in a few hours so I can "mentally prepare" to go back to work tomorrow!

So... Laurie says that I MUST have a livejournal... that its the new cool thing to do. I am so lucky to have little sisters so they can keep me on the up and up! I consider myself to be a fairly...uh... rad?? hip?? gnarly?? chic (lol), but sometimes I need a push in the right direction.
So I had surgery on Friday... three wisdom teeth removed. I had no problem with them ripping apart my jaws to get at them, it was the thought of anesthetic that turned my stomach. Needless to say I freaked a little... almost cried even. But, I survived. I dont know how some people go through that all the time.
And so now on to the next phase of my days off. Whats the last thing you would want to do in January after have oral surgery? Thats right.... MOVE.
I need to be out of my place in like.... three days. Funny how all the people who offered to help are no where to be found, ha ha.
So basically, I am left to fend for myself. At least I know it will get done the right way (a.k.a MY way).
